What does a private event cost?

It is priced per person, and the rate depends on which of the four packages fits — a weekday lunch buffet, a weekend brunch, or an evening midweek or at the weekend. Sales tax is the only thing added: there is no service charge and no separate venue fee on top. Tell us what you are hosting, roughly when, and for how many, and we will send the menu and an exact number.

Do we get the whole property?

Yes. Bookings are private — the park is yours for the window you have booked, not shared with another party or with the public.

Is there a guest minimum?

Thirty for most private events, with a hundred the maximum and the park at its best around eighty. Rehearsal dinners are the exception — those we take from around fifteen to twenty guests. If your list is shorter than the floor for what you are hosting, ask anyway.

Can we serve alcohol?

Beer and wine. No spirits — this is a residential forest community and that rule is part of how we stay a good neighbor in it. Music stops at nine sharp, so everyone gets home safe and still has the rest of the night in Lake Arrowhead Village.

May through October, when the mountain is at its best and the evenings are warm enough to sit out in. Those dates go first, the weekends especially, so come to us with a range as early as you can and we will tell you what is open in it.

What is parking like for a group?

There is parking on site, but it is limited, and there is an overflow turnout on Highway 18. For a larger group we will talk through arrivals when you book — it is the one piece of logistics worth planning properly.

Milestone birthdays

Sixtieths, seventieths, and the anniversaries that deserve more than a back room. Thirty guests is enough to have the whole park to yourselves.

Retreats and off-sites

Ninety minutes from the office and five thousand feet above it. No conference room, no hotel carpet, and no phone signal worth checking.

Bridal and baby showers

The morning light comes down through the canopy and the brunch buffet runs until two. The kitchen is on the property, so the food does not arrive in a van.

Less to arrange

You are booking a place, not building one

Some venues hand you an empty room and a vendor list. Here the trees, the cabins, and the lights are already in place, the food comes from LouEddie’s — the family’s pizza restaurant, fifty steps across the property — and the staff serving it work for the same people who own the park.

One coordinator runs the evening, the tables and chairs are set before your guests arrive, and everything is cleared away after they leave. What you actually have to decide is the date and the menu.
