Is there a separate venue rental fee?

No. The per-person price is the venue. Most venues quote a site fee and then everything else on top of it; here the number you see is the number the day is built on.

What is the 20% service charge?

It covers gratuity for the servers and the coordinator, and it applies to all pricing. We state it here rather than on the final invoice, which is where most venues put it.

Do we pay for guests who do not come?

Pricing is per person against your final count, not against a room capacity. The practical floor is 30 guests, and we make exceptions below that — ask.

Can we bring our own caterer?

Yes. Outside vendors are permitted, and we keep a recommended list. On the Traditional package catering is yours to arrange; LouEddie's, the family's restaurant on the property, is the easiest option and the one guests write reviews about.

How does this compare with other venues near Lake Arrowhead?

Most venues within twenty miles start around $23,000 and are built for 150 guests, with minimums of 60 or 100. The gap is widest at the smallest guest counts: at 40 guests you are comparing roughly $14,200 here against a floor somewhere near $23,000 elsewhere.

Both prices are per person and subject to a 20% service charge, which covers the servers and the coordinator, plus applicable sales tax. Nothing else is added.

Alcohol

Beer and wine are welcome here; spirits are not, and neither is part of the package. This is a residential forest community, and the rule keeps us in it.

Catering, on Traditional

The Traditional package covers the park rather than the meal. Premium is the one with dinner in it.

Flowers, photography, music

Bring your own, or ask us — after a decade on this mountain we know who is good and who turns up.

Sales tax

Applied to the total, alongside the 20% service charge. Those two are the only additions to the per-person price.
