What does a wedding at Willow Woods cost?

The Traditional package is from $195 per person and the Premium package is from $295 per person. Both are subject to a 20% service charge and applicable sales tax. Forty guests on Premium, with dinner served, comes to roughly $14,200 all in — against a field of comparable venues near Lake Arrowhead that starts around $23,000.

Is there a separate venue rental fee?

No. The per-person price is the venue. Most venues on this mountain quote a site fee first and then add everything else to it; here there is one number, and the day is built on it.

What is included in the Traditional package?

5 hours of the property to yourselves, ceremony and reception set-up before you arrive, tables and chairs, white, ivory, or black linens and napkins, non-alcoholic refreshments, day-of coordination, cake cutting and serving, and complete clean-up and breakdown afterwards. Catering is the one thing it does not include.

What does the Premium package add?

Dinner, chiefly: buffet service with hand-carved proteins, side dishes, and an appetizer, brought out by professional wait staff. It also adds a 6th hour, upgraded colored linens and napkins, a wider selection of non-alcoholic refreshments, and a one-hour rehearsal.

What is the 20% service charge?

Gratuity for the servers and the coordinator. It applies to all pricing, and we would rather state it here than let it turn up on a final invoice.

How many guests can you take?

Thirty is the usual minimum, eighty is where the park is at its best, and a hundred is the absolute ceiling. The Traditional package runs to 75 guests and Premium to 80. If your list is shorter than thirty, ask anyway — exceptions get made.

What is the property actually like?

Old-growth forest, garden paths, and the original log cabins from the logging camp — two of them dressing rooms on the day. Lights are strung through the branches for the evening, and there is an arch with a waterfall behind it where couples say their vows.

Weddings and events run all year. May through October is when this mountain is at its best — long light through the canopy, evenings warm enough to dance in — so those weekends book first. For a date outside that window, ask: we will tell you honestly what the weather is likely to do and what the park looks like when it does.

Can we stay on the property?

The couple can. The cabins left behind by the logging camp are still standing, and one of them is yours on the night, so nobody is driving down Highway 18 at midnight. Guests stay in Lake Arrowhead, five minutes down the road, which has the full range of hotels and rentals.

What is parking like?

There is parking on site, but it is limited, and there is an overflow turnout on Highway 18. For a full guest list it is worth planning arrivals properly, and we will walk you through it when you book.

How far is it from Lake Arrowhead and from Los Angeles?

LouEddie's, the family's own pizza restaurant, which sits on the same property and is run by the same people who run the park. It is where the food and the service staff come from, and guests mention the pizza unprompted in their reviews.

Can we bring our own caterer or vendors?

Yes. Outside vendors are permitted and we keep a recommended list built up over a decade on this mountain. On the Traditional package catering is yours to arrange in any case; on Premium the meal is already included.

Can we serve alcohol?

Beer and wine, yes. Spirits, no. Willow Woods sits in a residential forest community, and the policy is part of how it stays a good neighbor in one.

Are there vegan and gluten-free options?

Yes. LouEddie's cooks vegan and gluten-free as a matter of course rather than as a special request. Tell us the numbers and the specifics when you book.

How late can the music play?

All music goes off at ten o'clock sharp. That is a local noise ordinance rather than a house rule, and every venue on this mountain lives under it.

Can we see the place before we commit?

Yes, and you should. Tours run about an hour and are by appointment — bring whoever is helping you plan, and we will show you where the ceremony, the dinner, and the dancing would actually go.

How far in advance should we book?

Spring, summer, and fall weekends go quickly, so get in touch as soon as you have a season or a date range in mind. If your timeline is shorter than that, ask anyway and we will tell you what is still open.
