Willow Woods Weddings

Everyone you love, under the same hundred-year-old pines

Willow Woods Park is a small wedding venue near Lake Arrowhead — five minutes away, high in the San Bernardino Mountains where a logging camp stood a century ago. Thirty to eighty guests, cabins and forest that need no decorating, and a coordinator called Katie who runs the whole day for you.

Vows under old growth, dinner under the lights, and one setting holding the whole thing together from the first look to the last toast.

Late afternoon sunlight falling through the pines onto a wedding ceremony at Willow Woods Park

Some afternoons the sun comes straight down through the trees and lands on the aisle.

Nobody arranges it. It is what this clearing does in the late afternoon, and it has been doing it since long before the cabins went up.

It is also why photographs taken here on somebody’s phone come out looking like a person was paid to light them.

The shape of the day

From vows beneath the pines to the last song at ten

An evening wedding reception under string lights at Willow Woods Park

Your guests park, walk in under the trees, and sit down in the open air. You marry beneath old growth. Drinks and photographs happen while we turn the space around behind you, and dinner goes out at long tables as the lights come on.

Music stops at ten, sharp — a local ordinance every venue on this mountain lives with. You have five hours for all of it, or six on the Premium package, and at the end of it the two of you walk to a cabin rather than drive down the hill.

Our couples say it best
The night was beyond anything we could have imagined. Our photos look like they are straight out of a Pinterest board, and we will be dreaming about this day for the rest of our lives.

  • Willow Woods was all I could ever want as a bride because it felt like an enchanted forest from a storybook. I loved the rustic and whimsical aesthetic, the cute 1920s cabins, and the woodsy outdoors.

Why couples book it

What the photographs cannot tell you

Small on purpose
Thirty to eighty. Most venues on this mountain start at sixty and are built for a hundred and fifty, which is how a forty-person wedding ends up feeling under-attended in a room meant for three times the number.
Nobody gets back in a car
Vows, dinner, and dancing all happen within a few hundred feet of each other. No shuttle between the ceremony and the reception, and nobody misses the toast because they were looking for the next room.
Nothing to decorate
Hundred-year-old pines, 1920s log cabins, garden paths, and lights strung through the branches. Couples send us their Pinterest boards and then realize they have booked one.
You stay the night
The cabins the logging camp left behind are still standing, and on your wedding night one of them is yours. Nobody drives down the mountain at midnight.
Choosing your date

May through October is this mountain at its best

That is when the light comes down through the canopy, the evenings stay warm enough to dance in, and the forest does the thing everyone books it for — so those weekends are the ones that go first. The park is yours the rest of the year too, and there is a particular kind of quiet up here in the cold months. Tell us the season you have been picturing and we will be honest with you about what it looks like.
The two packages

Two wedding packages, and the difference is dinner

Traditional is from $195 per person and covers the park: 5 hours, set up before you arrive, tables and linens, day-of coordination, and everything cleaned up after. Catering is the one piece left to you. Premium is from $295 per person and hands you dinner as well — a buffet with hand-carved proteins, professional wait staff, a sixth hour, and a rehearsal. There is no separate venue rental fee. Forty guests on Premium comes to roughly $14,200 all in, against a starting point closer to $23,000 at comparable venues near Lake Arrowhead.

Walk it once and you will know

Tours take about an hour and are by appointment. Bring whoever is helping you plan, and we will show you where the ceremony, the dinner, and the dancing would actually go. Call (909) 337-7137 if that is faster.
